Nowadays, industry players are facing a big challenge on distributing resources for the demanding middle class and the fluctuated market. “Made in China 2015” was introduced under this market trend that new materials were included in the top 10 development items and smart manufacturing & green manufacturing were also covered in the top 5 development items. Obviously, new packaging materials which are green, low-carbon and contribute to the sustainable development will be the main focus in the packaging industry.

According to a research conducted by the Oxford Economics in 2016, a global economic research and government consulting organization revealed that in terms of labor costs, China's manufacturing industry was currently only 4% lower than the United States. The increased number of middle-class has also contributed to the rising demand of high-quality consumer goods, thus intensifying the competition on the market among the terminal brands.
