Propak West 2017 – Registration Open PR

Visitor registration is now open for Propak West Africa 2017 as the show is set to make history as the largest edition to date.

Registration is now open for professionals wishing to attend the region’s largest exhibition dedicated to the packaging and print industry. Taking place at the Landmark Centre, Lagos, Nigeria from 19th to 21st September 2017, organisers of Propak West Africa 2017 have confirmed this yearwill be the largest to date.

Now in its 5th edition, Propak West 2017 has already confirmed over 135 participating businesses and expects to sell out later this month. With endorsements from local respected institutions such as ‘Business Council for Africa’, ‘Institute of Packaging Nigeria’ and ‘Chartered Institute of Professional Printers Nigeria’, the exhibition will be a crucial platform for local and international business development in West Africa.

“Our key mission at Propak West Africa is to stimulate market growth and drive business within the industry, we do this through developing a carefully planned and trusted trade show that connects business leaders with key end users. After an immensely successful show in 2016, Propak West Africa has grown by 42% this year and we are investing heavily in new market sectors and features for the show to add to our visitor experience”, George Pearson, Regional Director West Africa, Afrocet Montgomery.

2017 will see the launch of a range of brand new events and features for the show, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore and identify new market opportunities and inspire ideas of how to grow their businesses.

The most notable of these launches this year is ‘Print and Digital Expo 2017’, a brand new dedicated pavilion designed to promote business opportunities for digital print in the packaging sector. Interested attendees will also be able to sit in on a dedicated day of seminar sessions focusing on print, in addition to a Print Workshop, held over two days, providing dynamic technical demonstrations and insights into this lucrative market.

“The local demand for more cost-effective means of printing materials, signifies a huge potential for growth within the market. For this reason, we decided to incorporate ‘Print and Digital Expo 2017’ this year. Each feature added is designed to show visitors the many avenues of opportunity available to them and to help them fulfil their potential”, explains George Pearson.

As in previous years, Propak West Africa will provide visitors with a full spectrum of technology across the industry including packaging materials, packaging suppliers, converting, printing, processing, rubber and plastics, packaging and ancillary machinery, labelling and more.

This year’s Propak West Africa Conference will be taking place alongside the exhibition over the three days. The programme is being finalised and will be announced very soon to include key industry speakers discussing the main market trends, local economy, new sectors and cutting-edge technology. These sessions will be free to attend for Propak West Africa visitors and run daily.

Five incorporated events across three exhilarating days, all under one roof. Visitors are invited to attend the most comprehensiveexhibition for packaging, print, plastics and processing in West Africa this September, to discover innovative products, exclusive market insights and network amongst like-minded professionals.
